English Tea Shop is a successful, sustainable and growing tea company based in Sri Lanka. However their wonderful ‘farm-to-cup’ story was not being expressed through their visual identity.

Echo worked with English Tea Shop to help better clarify, define and articulate their brand story and purpose. Inspired by the flavourful organic ingredients, vibrant colour palette and symbolism of Sri Lanka we created a series of flavour ‘mandalas’ that truly celebrate the uniqueness of each blend.


By subtly altering the elements and colour combinations of the mandala we created a recognisable brand device that both maintains brand continuity whilst allowing for effective range differentiation.


We re-crafted the English Tea Shop brand mark enhancing its quality credentials and improving legibility. Combined with the new visual identity the updated design truly celebrates the English Tea Shop story.


Our collaboration continues with English Tea Shop as we work with them to help communicate their sustainable ‘farm-to-cup’ story to tea loving communities around the world!

After 8 successful years we have taken the significant step of re-vitalising the design of our brand, its packaging and how we connect with consumers and customers alike. Thanks to Echo and the new branding we feel that we are now really communicating who we truly are.
